Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce
For the Pan-Seared Salmon:
4salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2tbsp olive oil
1tbsp oregano
1tbsp basil
1tsp grated lemon peel
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Lemon Dill Sauce:
1/2cup sour cream
1tbsp lemon juice
1tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
1tsp Dijon mustard
1clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1
In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, lemon juice, fresh dill, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
2
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides of the fillets with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and grated lemon peel.
3
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4
Carefully place the salmon fillets in the hot skillet, skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden.
5
Gently flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired doneness.
6
Transfer the cooked salmon to a serving platter or individual plates.
7
Give the Lemon Dill Sauce a quick stir and drizzle it generously over the pan-seared salmon.
8
Serve immediately with your choice of roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or a side of fluffy rice. Enjoy this flavorful masterpiece!
